Crespo Completes Milan Move

Hernan will link up with the man who first brought him to Serie A, Carlo Ancelotti. He leaves Chelsea just three days after Jose Mourinho told him to leave if he had even 1% of doubt about his commitment to Chelsea.

"AC Milan announce that we have reached an agreement with Chelsea for the loan of one year of Hernan Crespo," read a statement on the club's official website.

"The striker has signed an agreement with the club until 30 June 2005."

Hernan's decision will infuriate some quarters of the Chelsea faithful. After all, for £16,8 million, you expect a striker to play more than 18 league games. Despite this, he still managed 10 goals, a fantastic strike rate.

But Hernan leaves fans wondering what might have been, now that he has taken the easy way out...
