Joe Cole is expected to start Wednesday's crucial World Cup qualifier against Croatia.
The Chelsea midfielder, whose club form has been indifferent this season got both goals against Andorra on Saturday having come on as a second half substitute.
His brace spared England's blushes against a bunch of part-timers.
Croatia will be a different prospect and Cole said: "Managers are there to tell you what they want. He tells you and you go and do it, simple.

"I am here to play for England and the main thing is England wins, whoever starts."

Captain John Terry is gunning for the Croats.
Terry said: "We owe them one but it is a fresh campaign.

"But it is not revenge we are looking for, it's three points.'
