Claudio's Pre-Boro Rant

Seba, who's last Chelsea appearance came way back in November against Newcastle, has been out with a back injury sustained on international duty.

Now, Claudio Ranieri has revealed his much travelled Argentinian midfielder will take to the bench tomorrow at Boro: "Verón will come with me on the bench, and for him it is important, four months ago he had the injury, now he is getting better."

But most of the talk was about his future and the very near past.... Claudio continued "I am very focused on the match, and the other things are important but not like the match. We are talking, we have very good meetings and I think very soon we’ll know everything.

"I am very happy. You didn’t watch the television?

How have his players recovered though: "A couple of days I understand. Now it’s important to pick up again and think about the match. We are growing up, we want to be a big team. Big teams go through these periods, after a good victory, an important victory, then forget everything and continue to fight because every match against Middlesbrough has been very, very difficult, very passionate, they have good players.

“We showed fantastic character out there on the pitch. But my players are very intelligent and they know very well tomorrow is going to be very hard. That is important, to prepare today for tomorrow. Tomorrow is too late."
