Claudio Targets New Back Up

It is widely expected that de Goey will return to Holland to play out the final few years of his career after seeing Carlo Cudicini become the best keeper in the Premiership (or the World?) and oust him from the Chelsea side.

de Goey was signed by Ruud Gullit and broke the club record for most clean sheets in a season. The big Dutchman is also a veteran of several international tournaments, although he was replaced in the Dutch side before joining the Blues.

After spending the last 2 seasons on the bench at Chelsea, De Goey is now ready to move on at the tender age of 36!

Who will Claudio sign to replace him though? Will he give Rhys Evans a run on the bench instead? One thing's for sure- I bet he wishes Mark Bosnich hadn't experimented with the Devil's Dandruff...
