Chelsea vs FC Porto preview: How to watch on TV, live stream, team news and prediction

Chelsea head into the second leg of their UEFA Champions League quarter-final against FC Porto as the favourites to qualify, with a two-goal lead from the reverse tie.

Goals from Mason Mount and Ben Chilwell put Thomas Tuchel's side in the driving seat in the first leg, and it was the perfect response following a shock 5-2 home defeat at the hands of West Brom.

The Portuguese outfit dumped Juventus out in the previous round, sending shockwaves through Europe and so should not be taken lightly. But with the Blues having kept a clean sheet in the first leg, something the Italians failed to do, they are in a far stronger position.

With the second leg scheduled to take place in Spain on Tuesday night, here is 90min's preview of the fixture.

Chelsea team news

Thiago Silva looks likely to return to the starting lineup on Tuesday | Quality Sport Images/Getty Images

Chelsea have a fully-fit squad as they look to cement their place in the last four of this season's Champions League. Captain Thiago Silva was suspended for the weekend's trip to Crystal Palace, so should be well-rested and is likely to return to the starting lineup.

FC Porto team news

Porto welcome back both Mehdi Taremi and goalscoring midfielder Sergio Oliveira with the pair having missed the first-leg through suspension. In terms of injuries, Sergio Conceicao's side have very few fresh concerns. However, they will still be without Diogo Costa, Ivan Marcano and Mouhamed Mbaye.

Prediction

Chelsea have been much improved under Tuchel, particularly in defence. Having already established a lead it's difficult to see them throwing this tie away. However, they have an FA Cup semi-final to come at the weekend with Manchester City and perhaps that will prove to be a distraction.

With that in mind, the Blues could make changes to the starting lineup but aside from a bad day at the office against West Brom, recently they've been extremely professional under the German, regardless of who is selected and so it's difficult to see Porto turning this tie around.

Porto put in a dogged display versus Juventus in the last round but the gulf in class between these two is significant judging by what we saw in the first leg.

Prediction: Chelsea 2-0 FC Porto
