Chelsea v Atletico Madrid preview

Chelsea take on Atletico Madrid on Friday night in the UEFA Super Cup final at Stade Louis II.

Chelsea will be without suspended captain John Terry. Terry travelled with the squad to Monaco today but will watch from the sidelines as he serves the final instalment of his two-match European ban.
Also missing from the squad are Marko Marin (hamstring), Yossi Benayoun (illness) and Florent Malouda who were left behind in London.

Long-term absentee Kader is the only injury concern for Atletico.

Diego Simeone is expected to name an unchanged side that sunk Athletic Bilbao 4-0 earlier this week.

Chelsea goalkeeper Thibault Cortois is eligible to play against his employers after re-signing for Los Rojiblancos on loan from for another season.

Star striker Radamel Falcao, who has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge in recent weeks, and who also scored a hat-trick against Bilbao and is likely to feature for the Spaniards.
