Chelsea to parade Premier League trophy a day after FA Cup final

Chelsea beat West Brom last Friday to reclaim the Premier League title they last won in 2014-15

The Blues will be presented with the trophy after Sunday's final home game of the season against relegated Sunderland

Attention will then turn to the May 27 FA Cup final with Arsenal, when a Chelsea win would secure the double in Antonio Conte's first season as head coach

John Terry, who leaves Stamford Bridge this summer after 22 years, will lift a fifth Premier League trophy and hopes to sign off from Chelsea with a 16th major honour at Wembley

Chelsea said on their official website: "After securing the Premier league title, and with agreement from all relevant local agencies, we can confirm a victory parade will be held on Sunday, May 28, commencing at midday.

"Antonio Conte and his squad, who will contest the FA Cup final the day before the parade, will be accompanied on the route by the academy, which has enjoyed another unprecedented year of success.

"The youth team completed a double of their own, adding the Under-18 Premier League title to a sixth FA Youth Cup in eight years."

The parade will begin at Stamford Bridge and travel east along Fulham Road, then on to King's Road before stopping at Eel Brook Common.
