Chelsea tempting Napoli Striker Cavani in 35m switch

It has been reported by Daily Mail that Chelsea have shown a great interest in Napoli striker Edinson Cavani, and not just for his goal scoring record.



It is believed that with Edinson Cavani would be a suitable partner to play up front with Fernando Torres. Cavani has scored 66 goals in 94 appearances for Napoli and has hit double figures for the past four seasons in Serie A.

His confidence and form could only help Torres rediscover his best form for Chelsea, and After Euro 2012 it is expected that Torres will start the season well.

It is not known how much Chelsea are willing to pay yet, but after Drogba's departure, Di Matteo will be looking create a deadly strike force once again.
