Chelsea fan Dan's charity bike ride

Last updated : 17 May 2012 By Paul Lagan

Chelsea fan Dan Levene will be riding a bike to raise cash for one of Chelsea's chosen charities - Right To Play.

Here, in his own words is what he is doing, why and how you can help.

"On 1st July I'm setting off on a three-day 300mile bike ride to raise funds for charity Right To Play.

It's a great cause, which runs projects all over Britain and the world helping children reach their potential and enjoy their youth through play.

The charity is Chelsea FC's official partner charity, and it's ambassadors include Michael Essien, Saloman Kalou and Frank Lampard.

I've been putting in loads of training for this ride, and am looking forward to walking like John Wayne after my 100mile-a-day ordeal.

But the other part of the challenge is reaching my £1000 fundraising target: which, I hope, is where you come in. All donations are gratefully received.

You can donate as little as £1 to this great charity, by texting BLUE97 £1 to 70070 (there are no additional charges, and the whole £1 goes to the charity). For slightly bigger donations, you can text BLUE97 £3, or BLUE97 £5. Or, you can donate by Paypal or credit card via my Justgiving page: http://www.justgiving.com/dan-levene Thanks for any help you can give.

Best wishes, Dan Levene

Go on, give the lad a push and help him get to his target.
