Chelsea 4-2 Celtic

Chelsea took the lead through Alexei Smertin, who hammered in a fantastic 25 yard shot.

But Celtic drew level through young striker Craig Beattie, and things remained that way until Arjen Robben set up Eidur Gudjohnsen, who finished superbly.

After that, it was the Mateja Kezman show. Sent in the clear by Gudjohnsen, Kezman showed why Jose Mourinho rates him so highly with a sublime finish. A quick glance at the far post was enough to send the keeper the wrong way as the man nicknamed Batman slid the ball in at the near post.

Craig Beattie then added his second of the game, before Chelsea finished the scoring late on.

Kezman's second came about thanks to a great run by Glen Johnson, standing in at centre back! Jonno charged through the Celtic team before sending Kezman clear for another great finish.

A great start to the tour!
