Champs League Ticket News

Yes, this is our biggest game of the season. Previously, it was the league game against Arsenal. Before that, it was the FA Cup game against Arsenal. So, if you needed any confirmation, Arsenal are quite clearly our biggest rival these days! Which is not good news, seeing as we can't beat them for love (John Terry) nor money (Roman Abramovich)... Oh well, here's all the ticket details, thanks to the Official Chelsea website, which released this statement:

"Chelsea have been drawn to face Arsenal in quarter finals of the Champions League with the first leg at home on Wednesday 24th March and the second leg away on Tuesday 6th April both games kicking off at 7:45pm. Admission prices will be category A.

Tickets will initially go on sale exclusively to Season Ticket holders from 9am Saturday 13th via the telesales call center (0870 300 2322) ONLY. No personal callers this weekend. ALL Season Ticket holders will have to apply for a ticket and European forms completed at the start of the season will not be valid for this game. Season Ticket holders will have a reservation right to buy their own seat until 5pm on Wednesday 17th March.

From 9am Monday 15th, applications will be accepted from both Season Ticket holders and Members (initially in the West and East Upper areas only) via both the phone lines and also personal callers at the box office windows. Due to the shortness of time there will be no postal or Internet applications accepted. Teamcards must be produced at the time of sale, initially it will be one ticket per person only.

Subject to availability tickets will go on general sale as of 9:00am Thursday 18th March.

For the home leg the Matthew Harding Lower tier blocks 13, 14, 15, and 16 will NOT be available. The Matthew Harding Upper tier blockers 14, 15, 16 and 17 will also NOT be available. The Shed Family seats taken for the Stuttgart game will once again be required by UEFA and the rows in front of the East Upper TV gantry will also be unavailable. The Matthew Harding Season Ticket holders who have to be relocated will have the choice of going into the Shed Upper or the West Stand lower. The East Upper Season Ticket holders who have to be relocated will be given seats in the West Stand Upper central seats or the Shed Upper.

Arsenal have taken both sections of the East Lower

AWAY LEG
Ticket details for the away leg should be known by Monday with priority likely to be given to those who've gone to previous European away games. Allocations for a European game at Highbury will be more along the lines of a Premiership game rather than the recent FA Cup game."
