Chelsea are £30,000 poorer after being fined by the FA for failing to control their fans during a Carling Cup tie with the Hammers on 27 October 2004.

At the end of the game at Stamford Bridge, police in riot gear clashed with both sets of fans.

Chelsea striker Mateja Kezman had treatment on a head injury after being struck by an object thrown from a section of West Ham fans.

Both sides have been reprimanded and warned as to their future conduct.

Both clubs requested a personal hearing after being charged, and both will split the cost of the disciplinary commission hearing on October 25 this year.
